Miles Carlisle, CADC

Miles Carlisle is originally from Naples, Florida. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2017 at the age of 19 to begin his journey in recovery. After entering treatment to abstain from drugs and alcohol, Miles became very active in his recovery community through sponsorship of other young people struggling with addiction, leadership commitments, and living with other recovering addicts. Miles now has 4 years of sobriety and understands what it is like to be a young adult struggling with addiction in today’s society. Miles attended the Meehan institute for counselor training in Spring of 2020, and he is now in the process of obtaining hours to become certified in the field of drug and alcohol abuse counseling. Miles currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina where he is an intensive outpatient intern at the Insight Program.
