Ava Mesa
Aministrative Assistant / Peer Support Counselor
Ava Mesa was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She started abusing drugs and alcohol at the young age of 13 and entered her journey into recovery at 16. After finding enthusiastic sobriety, she has stayed sober ever since. Ava has a passion for recovery and helping young people find joy again. Ava attended the Meehan Institute for counselor training in the summer of 2024.
Ava is currently working in Raleigh, North Carolina as a peer support counselor and is currently working towards her hours to become a certified drug and alcohol abuse counselor.
