Features of Our Substance Abuse IOP for Young Adults

Other IOPs may handle the clinical side but expect clients to find community support on their own. We believe recovery should be comprehensive, so we include those resources in the program itself.

Weekly 12-step meetings for young adults

Each week our Tampa facility offers 12-step meetings for young adults on Monday and Wednesday evening. This eliminates a common stumbling block for young people, allowing them direct access to the peer support they need to recover.

Full-Featured Parent Support Group

Turning 18 doesn’t sever the deep ties young adults have with their families. That’s why every Monday, we host a parent support group—to offer families the tools and guidance they need as well.

Weekly Sober Social Events

Young adults are wired for social interaction and often look to peers for validation and connection. Without positive, sober alternatives, progress in recovery becomes much less likely. To address this, we offer twice-weekly sober social events at our facility in Tampa.

Individual Counseling

We include one-on-one counseling and treatment planning sessions every week to help young adults reflect on progress, address challenges, and set meaningful goals.
