Features of Our Substance Abuse IOP for Young Adults

A common shortfall of many IOPs is the lack of built-in community support. At The Insight Program, we don’t just offer counseling and support—we provide the full recovery environment, including access to meetings, groups, and peer networks.

Weekly 12-step meetings for young adults

Each week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, our substance use treatment facility in Cary, NC offers 12-step meetings for young adults. This provides young people with direct access to the critical peer support they need and removes the need for them to find outside support group meetings on their own accord.

Full-Featured Parent Support Group

Even after 18, the influence and support of parents remain central in many young adults’ lives. That’s why we prioritize supporting the family with a Monday night support group for parents.

Weekly Sober Social Events

Peer connection plays a major role in the lives of young adults. Without healthy, sober relationships to take the place of old ones, recovery can quickly unravel. That’s why we host sober social events twice a week at our Raleigh facility.

Individual Counseling

Every participant in the program meets with their counselor weekly to track progress, navigate challenges, and adjust treatment goals as needed.
