Details of Our Recovery Events
Getting sober can be hard work, and without the ability to let down and have fun, it becomes much tougher! For this reason, our Peachtree City area recovery center holds twice-weekly sober events for young people all year-round on Friday and Saturday evenings!
When:
Friday and Saturday
evenings at 7:30pm
Where:
Locations of our sober events vary week-to-week, but they are always at or near our recovery center in Peachtree City, GA. Specific locations are announced weekly at our parent support group meeting and our 12-step meetings
For:
Teens aged 13-17
Young Adults aged 18-25
About Our Peachtree City Recovery Events
Our core philosophy is that recovery must be better than doing drugs in order for it to work! In other words, we've got to find ways to enjoy life and have fun without drugs and alcohol. This is especially true for young people, even moreso on those challenging weekend evenings. Our twice-weekly recovery events are centered on helping Peachtree City area young people find a way of life where they can connect with sober peers and learn to have fun sober.
Our addiction recovery events are attended by our substance abuse counseling staff.

Additionally, we plan larger activities each year, such as weekend sober camping trips, tubing the Chatahoochee River, yearly beach trips to Destin, FL, and New Year's Eve events!
