Sam Ake

Sam was introduced to drugs at a young age and, after multiple other treatment centers, as well as legal and health problems due to extensive drug use, found the insight program at the age of 20. Sam has stayed sober and has been in active recovery ever since. Sam found his love for helping other addicts achieve and maintain sobriety and then attended counselor training the end of 2021. Sam is passionate about helping sharing his experience in recovery with young people. Sam is currently a peer support counselor at the insight program in Atlanta and is dedicated to continuing to help young kids and their families combat addiction and alcoholism.
