We are so blessed to have found this program. It is not typical addiction recovery it’s about changing your life in a recovery program, for both the teen and their families. A year ago we were searching and hopeless and now she is one year sober and we are hopeful.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Insight Program. Our son entered the program addicted, lonely and barely able to function. As parents we felt helpless. The counselors, peer support and parent support have helped us all to heal. Our son is a completely different person almost a year later and our family continues to grow stronger. Insight has changed our family’s life for the better.

The counselors at Insight have changed our lives and we truly believe the staff, the kids, and the connections our son has made with them saved his life. Mental health struggles and substance use/abuse struggles are so incredibly challenging for families and we are unbelievably grateful that we found Insight. Our son has been in recovery for over 10 months because the counselors at Insight helped him gain the self awareness, social skills, and the confidence in himself that he needed to grow into the amazing human that he always was, but somehow became lost-they brought him back to us. Insight has given us skills too through their parent support group-we have learned so much, our relationship with our son has grown, and we have gained a group of understanding and compassionate friends that we can lean on when we need to. The weekend events, holiday events, and other special events that Insight offers are another key to success-the kids have so much fun in a safe environment with other kids who understand them and they can connect with-it is amazing! If someone you love struggles with substance use and/or mental health, don’t hesitate to reach out to Matt and Steve (they can help!!)-they are absolute experts in their field!!

I was apart of insight for about 3 years, the help and support that I was given to learn how to go through life not only sober but fulfilled and happy is something I'll never forget. The fellowship and connections I made throughout my time are lifelong friendships and support I'll always have. I've been graduated for a few months now and still carry everything I've learned and was taught into my life today and AA going on my fourth year of sobriety. I couldn't be more grateful!

The Insight Program is the reason my teen has been sober for more than one year and counting. The program offers what teens needs most and provides intensive outpatient treatment, addiction counseling, and fun social events. My teen's success is in large part due to the qualified and caring counselors in addition to the strong peer support. The staff, parents, and youth have become our extended family. At Insight these teens learn skills and coping strategies to last a lifetime. I would recommend this program without hesitation for any teen or young person who is battling substance abuse.

My child went from hating me to saying "my mom is one of my best friends!" The transformation has been remarkable. Insight saved my child's life and showed us how to communicate again. I wanted someone to "fix" my child's problems; what I didn't expect was such an amazing parent support group to become like extended family. This program is unlike any other that I had researched. Every weekend is filled with fun planned events with sober kids keeping each other accountable and having the time of their life! We've been a part of the program for over 18 months, and the proof is in my child's life and our relationship.

Our approach to teen and young adult drug treatment

The Insight Program has specialized in helping young people and teens through substance abuse and substance use disorder for over 40 years.

Many drug and alcohol rehab programs emphasize simply quitting drugs and alcohol for 30-90 days at a time. While this approach can work well for adults, it often falls flat with teens. While For teens to enter long-term recovery, their sobriety must be better than getting high!

Our expertise in young adult / teen drug and alcohol treatment allows us to recognize the various challenges that these age groups face. Whatever signs and symptoms you are seeing in your young person’s drug use, we can help!

Everything from our sober social events to our weekly treatment plans focus on allowing young people to be who they are, have fun sober, and connect with a positive sober peer group. Additionally, we recognize the unique and tough situation parents and family members of drug-using young people find themselves in. Therefore, our services also include support for parents and family members.
