Stephanie Smiley, LMHC, MCAP, CTP

Stephanie Smiley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Master’s Level Addiction Professional and a Certified Trauma Professional. She holds a Master of Arts in Psychology and Addiction Studies and a Bachelor in Social Work. She has been a substance abuse counselor since 2015 and has worked with The Insight Program since 2017.

Stephanie grew up in Kansas City, KS and struggled with addiction since the age of 15. After being in and out of treatment for 8 years, Stephanie joined the Crossroads program at the age of 24. She began her personal recovery journey in 2013 and is passionate about sharing her experience in recovery and drug addiction with young adults. She is experienced in group therapy counseling, individual counseling and family counseling utilizing many treatment modalities and approaches.

Stephanie is now the Clinical Supervisor and Senior Counselor for the Insight program in Tampa, Florida.
